2. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the services and sales carried out by SASU DECRETON – Élec & Confort.
- General electrical work, high-current and low-current systems.
- Security and network work: alarms, cameras, intercoms, RJ45, Wi-Fi, VDI, patch cabinets.
- Heating work: installation, replacement, adjustment, servicing and maintenance of peripheral components.
- Plumbing work: installation, connection, troubleshooting, servicing and network repairs.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, renovation and safety upgrades in the above-mentioned fields.
- Coordination of technical interventions when several requirements overlap on the same site.
- Related activities in compliance with applicable regulations.
3. Scope of application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients:
- Consumer client (B2C): a natural person acting for non-professional purposes.
- Professional client (B2B): a natural or legal person acting within the scope of their professional activity.
Any order implies the Client’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, unless special conditions are accepted in writing by SASU DECRETON – Élec & Confort.
4. Orders and quotations
Any service may be subject to a detailed quotation, either free of charge or paid depending on the nature of the intervention. When the quotation or diagnosis is chargeable, the Client is informed before any travel or intervention.
The quotation is valid for 20 calendar days from its issue date, unless otherwise stated on the quotation.
The order becomes firm and final upon:
- written or electronic acceptance of the quotation;
- and/or payment of the required deposit;
- and/or the Client’s express agreement to begin the intervention.
4 bis. Diagnostics, visits and quotations
Diagnostics constitute an independent technical service including, depending on the selected option: travel, visual inspections, tests, light dismantling, technical checks, oral feedback or a written report.

- Diagnostics are charged according to the current price list available on the Pricing page: https://elecetconfort.fr/tarif, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The diagnostic amount may be deducted from the final invoice if the associated works are accepted within 30 days.
- The included time depends on the selected option: 20 minutes or 1 hour maximum, depending on the case.
- Any excess time may be charged at the current standard hourly rate, in started 30-minute increments, unless a specific quotation is issued.
- If the Client is absent from the appointment, a travel fee of €40 excluding VAT may be due.
- Written reports are provided in PDF format and constitute a best-efforts obligation.
5. Prices and additional costs
Prices are stated in euros excluding VAT. Applicable VAT is added in accordance with current regulations.
Prices shown on the website are provided for information purposes, especially when displayed with the wording “from”. They may vary depending on complexity, urgency, accessibility, the condition of the existing installation, required equipment and site constraints.
- travel expenses;
- diagnostic fees;
- supplies, equipment and consumables;
- specific costs related to urgency, difficult access or technical constraints;
- penalties or legally applicable fees.
Additional costs are brought to the Client’s attention before validation when they are foreseeable.
6. Payment terms
6.1 Common provisions
Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, payment is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice. A deposit may be required before equipment is ordered or work is scheduled.
Accepted payment methods:
- bank transfer;
- cash within the legal limit;
- bank card if available;
- any other method expressly accepted by the company.
6.2 Consumer clients (B2C)
In the event of late payment, late-payment penalties may be applied based on the current statutory interest rate, from the day following the due date shown on the invoice.
No fixed €40 recovery fee applies to consumers.
6.3 Professional clients (B2B)
Any late payment automatically results in:
- late-payment penalties calculated in accordance with the provisions applicable to commercial relationships;
- a fixed €40 recovery fee, in accordance with Article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code and Article D.441-5 of the French Commercial Code.
- additional compensation if the actual recovery costs incurred exceed the fixed amount.
7. Right of withdrawal for consumer clients
For contracts concluded remotely, following telephone canvassing or off-premises, the consumer Client has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal, in accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
This right does not apply in particular to:
- urgent maintenance or repair work expressly requested by the Client;
- services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period with the Client’s express consent;
- supplies or goods made to the Client’s specifications or clearly personalized, where permitted by law.
The standard withdrawal form is included in Article 14.
8. Performance of work
Intervention times are stated in the quotation as estimates, unless otherwise agreed in writing. They are expressed in working days and may depend on supply availability, Client availability, technical constraints and the actual condition of the site.
Deadlines may be changed in the event of:
- force majeure;
- bad weather or conditions making the work dangerous or impossible;
- supplier delay or stock shortage;
- discovery of an anomaly, non-compliance or difficulty not visible at the quotation stage;
- a modification request made by the Client;
- lack of site access or failure by the Client to prepare the site.
The work is deemed compliant unless written, precise and reasoned reservations are sent within 7 calendar days following the end of the intervention or acceptance of the works.
9. Legal warranties and work guarantees
Depending on the nature of the services, the Client benefits from the warranties provided by law, including:
- the legal guarantee of conformity for consumer clients where applicable;
- the warranty against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code;
- the guarantee of perfect completion, two-year guarantee or ten-year guarantee where the nature of the work falls within their scope;
- manufacturer warranties on installed equipment, according to each manufacturer’s own terms.
Warranties do not cover defects resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, modification by a third party, an existing non-compliant installation or an event outside the intervention.
10. Liability
SASU DECRETON – Élec & Confort is bound by a best-efforts obligation for diagnostics, advice, fault-finding, technical analyses and interventions on existing installations.
Its liability may not be incurred in the event of:
- non-compliant use of installations or equipment;
- modification or intervention by a third party without written agreement;
- pre-existing defect, obsolete or non-compliant installation not attributable to the company;
- lack of maintenance or failure by the Client to provide information;
- indirect damage, business interruption, data loss or non-material damage, unless otherwise provided by law.
11. Personal data protection

The personal data collected is used to respond to requests, prepare quotations, perform services, provide customer follow-up, comply with accounting, tax and legal obligations, and defend the company’s rights where necessary.
Data is retained for the periods necessary for the purposes pursued and for applicable legal obligations.
The Client has rights of access, rectification, objection, erasure, restriction and portability, under the conditions provided by applicable regulations. A complaint may be lodged with the CNIL.
12. Mediation and disputes
Consumer clients (B2C)
In the event of a dispute, the consumer Client must first submit a written complaint to the company. If no amicable resolution is reached, the Client may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator:

Professional clients (B2B)
Any dispute with a professional Client shall, unless otherwise required by mandatory provisions, fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court within the district of SASU DECRETON’s registered office.
Applicable law: French law.
13. Force majeure
Neither party may be held liable for any delay or failure to perform due to a force majeure event, as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code and French case law.
The following may in particular constitute events preventing or delaying performance: exceptional weather conditions, natural disaster, fire, illness, accident, major breakdown, supply disruption, administrative decision, strike, network interruption or any external, unforeseeable and irresistible event.
14. Standard withdrawal form
This form must be completed and returned only if the consumer Client wishes to withdraw from a contract eligible for the right of withdrawal.

15. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of a quotation, signing of a contractual document, payment of a deposit, written agreement or commencement of performance requested by the Client constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are available on the company’s website and may be sent upon request.
Contractual document
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the services performed by SASU DECRETON – Élec & Confort. In the event of a special condition stated on a signed quotation, that condition shall prevail over these Terms and Conditions.
